Terbaik dari langit

Everyone has their own taste when it comes to watching movies and drama. We have our own expectation, hope, prediction etc. Honestly, I'm the type who sometimes prioritise something cheesy over pertinent things like most of the time people watch movies to get lessons right. But that's not the only thing I want from a movie.

  

I believe films are platform to express idea, thoughts, arts in particular regardless whether you're not going to understand a single thing from it. Because there are so many elements contain in it such as mood, songs, colors, characters. I do concern on the songs they put, the color, the actings, the settings.

I'm so not gonna tell you what was the story all about. Purposely, I capture few moments I love and those which make up my mood. This kind of movie is so gonna be the movie that I'm going to find and watch whenever I reach my boredom state, my depression state, my I-don't-know-what-else-to-do state and above all, this is my dream mood. Classics, suburb or whatever you might call it.

"Look Berg. These days, semua orang nak jadi different kan?" -Ijam

"So?" -Berg

"So maknanya everyone's the same lah. Right?" -Ijam

"Tapi Ijam aku tak nak jadi different pun. Aku just nak jadi aku je. Berg." -Berg

I was happened to know that some of the scenes was held in Ipoh so no wonder they are able to get a lot of those classic and kind of suburb background

Another thing that I adore the most is the character. The way they act. It is synical, fresh, natural.

"You like Physics?" -Sara

"Physics?" -Ijam

"Physics. Bila tekanan tinggi, kita cari ruang" -Sara

"Kau tu Jam. Takut sangat dengan diri kau. Itu masalahnya.

Penampilan kau, pemikiran kau, semua ikut cita rasa orang lain...

"....Kalau kau macam ni sampai umur kau 50, nothing real about you brader

Kau sebenarnya tak wujud pun" -Berg

Hats off to the team. I've been appreciating and loving the masterpieces from Redza Minhat, Tuan Faisal, Rewan Ishak, Nik Amir Mustafa when I feel their work is more and less like Allahyarham Yasmin Ahmad's which is my favorite as well.

So yeah this is another reason why I am so madly want to go to Ipoh to witness those classical arts, cultures, buildings, people and environment.
